History SMARTs in Room 3103

Here's a picture from Friday's unveiling of the SMART board. SMART technologies is based in Canada, and you can read more about the company here.

What do you think of the SMART board, and how useful is it for history class? Even though we used it for review jeopardy, what ideas of your own can you offer for how we can better use it in history? Pardon the pun, but I bet you can think of many, many ways to utilize SMART board in class. I am sure your comments will be right on the money, and priceless.

i enjoyed using the board on friday. it is a neat invention and i was glad that i learned how to use it. for our history class, i think the board would be useful for writing notes down and saving them. we could post the notes on the blog and print out a copy for ourselves. i am going to go study for the test tomrrow. bye!

SMART board- very very cool. I really enjoyed using it. I think that everyone is really on the money in saying that it would be great for notes. Also, it could be used for presentations, slideshows, etc. The interactive maps that we used in class this week would be even neater on the SMART board!
